Be weary of anything that promises fast or quick. Losing weight and getting healthy is not a quick, easy process. It takes a long time and probably twice as long as you think.
If something says fast, quick, or easy then it is probably very restrictive dieting or high intense exercises. Neither one of these are sustainable for any length of time. Yes, you will lose weight doing these tactics, but you can’t keep up these behaviors forever. Most people can’t stick with them and they slow down their metabolism due to calorie restriction. Once they fail the diet, they go back to their previous behaviors and put the weight back on plus some more weight because their metabolism is slower than what it was before due to the restrictive diet.
Take the long road and embrace the journey. Eat a wide variety of whole nutritious minimally processed foods as much as you can. Eat a lot of vegetable. Stick with lean protein. Eat more unsaturated fats than saturated fats. Limit your sugar intake. Drink lots of water. Move more throughout the day and exercise at least 3 times a week. If you stay consistent with these habits, eventually you will lose the weight that you want, and you will be healthy. Plus, you are more likely to keep the weight off than rebound and put it back on.
